<description>"Ask the mayor if his massive subsidies for the well-to-do owners of the Yankees, Mets and Nets for new stadiums can be economically justified when they’re being paid for by a middle class bridling under what are already the highest taxes in the continental US.

Ask the mayor if his massive subsidies for the well-to-do owners of the Yankees, Mets and Nets for new stadiums can be economically justified when they’re being paid for by a middle class bridling under what are already the highest taxes in the continental US."

Those questions weren't asked because they are stupid.

Are you serious? The fact that only 2% of new yorkers go to the polls just shows that the majority of the lazy, unemployed homeboys in just couldn't be bothered.

The subsidies for Yankee stadium were not paid for by the tax payers at all. The New York Yankees makes the city millions of dollars.

The tax money invested in the Mets and other New York institutions are investments that give back to the community. At least that gives something to the community unlike the tax payer money we waste on government housing, EBT, and other bullshit government programs.</description>
